Program Evaluation and Research

Since its beginning, HOMEBUILDERS has been highly successful in helping thousands of children and their families address serious problems such as family violence, mental illness, substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, teenage pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, and developmental disabilities.

Over the years, HOMEBUILDERS has been evaluated by many groups, including the American Criminal Justice Institute, the National Institute for Mental Health, the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, the Washington State Legislature, and the Oregon Council on Crime and Delinquency, and a National Science Foundation Committee in conjunction with the Boys Town Centers for Youth Development.

All reports have been highly positive.
